September 2021 Deluxe Wine Bag
We can't believe it is already the month of September! Before you know it, Christmas is here. We have curated four bottles of delicious wines to get you sorted in case another lockdown happens (we hope not!).
Cremant du Jura Cuvee Adrian Brut 2016 (France) (Level of overall body, acidity, profile and strength - 4/5)
Fantastically crisp and elegant, perfect acidity and persistent fine bubbles. This organic sparkling wine is sophisticated yet fresh with stimulating flavours of apples and pears. Pair with fresh fruits or green salads.
Cuvee Oppidum Blanc by Chateau de Gaure (France) (Level of overall body, acidity, profile and strength - 5/5)
A Flot by Domaine la Navicelle (France) (Level of overall body, acidity, profile and strength - 3/5)
Refreshing! Beautiful pale pink in colour with a savoury nose and fruity and acidic freshness. This delicious rosé is full and round, with notes of peach and grapefruit. Pleasant end note with a touch of minerality. Enjoy with summer salads, grilled fish or as an aperitif.
Generacion76 by Bodegas Tempore (Spain) (Level of overall body, acidity, profile and strength - 4/5)
Visually it presents an intense dark cherry colour with a brilliant violet rim. The fruit immediately takes over with lively berry-like aromas of strawberries and blackberries. If shaken, it continues to gently grow in complexity with a mineral, fruity bouquet that throws you straight back to the vineyards. Everything so perfectly blended in a young wine with unexpected maturity.
In taste, it’s rich in fruity flavours of red berries in the optimum ripeness. It has a seductive velvety entrance in the mouth that gives way to a great combination of lush fruits and wood in perfect harmony. It has an expressive round taste that leaves a pleasant and exciting aftertaste.
