About the wine
With ripe red fruits and underlying sweet spice aromas, the organic Chianti from Fattoria is a toasty, medium-bodied red with a lingering finish. The rippling acidity makes this a fantastic partner to tomato-based pasta dishes or grilled meats.
Fabio di Ambrogi, the fantastic winemaker from Fattoria di Gratena, in Tuscany, has been farming his vines organically since 1994. His team fertilize with manure only, harvest by hand and respect the natural cycles of the vineyard.
Influenced by the Japanese philosophy of operating with transparency and precision, Fabio deeply respects the unique characteristics of the area he works in. Not only does the terroir reflect in the beauty of his wines, but they are made from indigenous grapes, including their own exclusive varietals.
About the beer
CRUST brewery is built around the belief in sustainability. They use surplus ingredients from bakeries and resaturants to brew their beer, using everything from leftover bread to unused fruit peels. They aim to reduce global food waste whilst creating something delicious in the process.
Right now, the brewery has four flavours on tap, with more in the pipeline. They focus on partnering with local brands and creating distinctly Singaporean tastes. Beers include Mango IPA, Kaya Toast Stout and Beerguette, using leftover baguettes from Thiong Bahru bakery. We'll include a mix of flavours in each bundle for you to try.
