The Pradarolo Farm is located in the Parma hills and run by husband and wife team Alberto Carretti and Claudia Iannelli. They describe their key goals when making expressive, sustainable wine as always aiming for the best natural ingredients from the vineyards. So the team grow entirely organic grapes use ancient winemaking techniques in the cellar to produce natural wines with real splendour. You’ll find a range of wines with long macerations on both white and red, and intriguing use of native yeasts to reflect the unique location of the farm.
The team works with not only great attention to the technical aspects of winemaking, but aim to use their increasing experience in natural wines, expertise in organics and winemaking intuition. Creativity guides their decisions when making their wines, often leading to some surprisingly delicious end results.
