"Wine is inextricably linked to humans; it allows, according to the meetings and exchanges it creates to open new horizons. That's what feeds me."
Philippe Benezet, Domaine Turenne
Philippe has run the family vineyard in Côtes-de-Provence since 1990. Deeply anchored in the south of France and in love with the area's landscapes, Philippe devoted himself to this vineyard with the desire to master the winemaking process from start to finish. His first wines were released in 1994.
Domaine Turenne has been kept purposefully small. Today it has just 20 hectares planted with the main Côtes-de-Provence grape varieties: Mourvèdre, Syrah, Carignan, Grenache, Cinsault, Petite Clairette du Var and Rolle (Vermentino).
More than half of these vines are from the 60s and 70s. Some are much older, such as the Petite Clairette du Var, a native grape that dates back all the way to 1903.
Unfortunately we currently have no wines in stock for that supplier. Take a look at the wines available from all our producers using the menus to the side, or head back to our winemakers page to view all our independent producers.
